So is it non-compulsory? And never necessary for Silver or there may be some twist right here?
At all times insist for purity – which means BIS hallmark on gold jewelry + pakka invoice (i.e. pay GST and get a correct invoice).
Unsure if there may be any hallmarking on silver objects. However do ask them to say the purity proportion within the invoice.
Curiously, went to WHP Jwellers they denied BIS Halmarking on Silver( although i as a buyer can request for it, as per BIS) secondly they wont even write purity proportion on Invoice…!!!
I merely walked away…
But it surely such a troublesome factor to get BIS hallmark silver objects… i suspects there’s a huge recreation with silver objects even with established jweller chains…

Higher to purchase silver bars & cash by MMTC which point out purity on their merchandise and comes seal-packed. Generally we get 10% low cost on some bank cards as properly (normally on Amazon)

That is worrisome. No less than they need to point out the hallmark id however they’re even refusing to hallmark. Marvel why it’s so when it prices solely 50/- max to get the merchandise hallmarked.

Sorry i’m not positive if a Silver Bar or coin has 99.98% embossed how is that mark of purity if not acknowledged on invoice?
For all i do know that may be a design that anybody can put , i can get a silver bar with 100% written on it for some further making prices…
Aint this actual or am i pushing the pedal to arduous, with out a certificates of authenticity from a genuine org how will we belief something?
